Assistant Director of the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Daw Myint Win and her party inspected the work progress of construction of a two-storey facility that belongs to the DRD in Hsipaw Township, Northern Shan State on 10 March.
    

The DRD assistant director called for concerned officials to focus on the safety measures, meeting the set standard, timely completion and durability of the building. She was also briefed about improvements by a representative from the tender winning company and township level DRD officials. The DRD office is being built with Ks. 85.66 million of the budget allocation in the fiscal year 2018-2019.
    

Upon completion of the facility, the DRD will carry out rural developmental tasks by drawing up a strategy with the intention of improving socioeconomic status of rural people in Hsipaw Township in accordance with its sustainable development goal.—Min Myint Mo (Ngazun)
