THE Anti-Corruption Commis­sion and Prosecutor-General’s Office of the Russian Feder­ation organized the “Experts Meeting on Preventing Cor­ruption: Addressing Conflict of Interests, Financial Disclosure, Legal Review, and Risk Assess­ment” online yesterday.

 

Permanent Secretary U Htein Lin of the Anti-Corrup­tion Commission Office ex­pressed willingness to coop­erate effectively in promoting capacity-building measures and combatting corruption.

 

Deputy Head Yusufov Aslan Shikhzdayevich of the Russian Department of Su­pervision over Compliance with Anti-Corruption Laws served as the moderator dur­ing the meeting, and Senior Prosecutor, Venetskiy Mikhail Mikhailovich discussed under the topic “Review of Govern­ment Officials’ Expenditures with Income and the Role of Prosecutors in Exercising their Powers”, Senior Prosecutor Ilyin Aleksandr Andreyevich under the topic “Prosecutorial Supervisory Practices in the Implementation of Anti-Cor­ruption Laws in Preventing and Resolving Conflicts of Interest”, Senior Prosecutor Tarasova Di­ana Mikhailovna “Practices of Identifying Corruption Risks in Existing Laws and Drafts”, Director Daw Khin Phyu Pwint of the Anti-Corruption Com­mission Office “Enactment of the Anti-Corruption Law and Amendment”, Director U Lin Wai Aung “Disclosure of Income and Possession”, and Director Daw Nan Yadana Tun “Risk Assessment on Anti-Cor­ruption”. — MNA/KTZH
