U THAN SWE, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Marcoluigi Corsi, United Nations Resident Coordinator/Humanitarian Coordinator ad interim (UNRC/ HC ai) and Representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Myanmar who is about to accomplish his assignment in Myanmar, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
They exchanged views on matters relating to cooperation between Myanmar and the United Nations during the tenure of Mr Marcoluigi Corsi in Myanmar.
Also, present at the meeting were senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. — MNA
