Union Minister of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Chairman of Myanmar National Committee for Women’s Affairs Dr Win Myat Aye attended the ceremony to mark International Women’s Day which was held at People’s Square here yesterday evening.

 The Minister of Social Affairs of Yangon Region Government the Chairman of Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs’ Association delivered an introductory speech at the event and then posed a documentary photo with the guests before presenting the certificates of honor to those who contributed to successful holding of the event. The Chairman of MWEA expressed thanks. The ceremony contains fashion shows and other entertainments. 

The Union Minister also attended and delivered an opening remark for Myanmar International Women’s Day and Champion for Gender Equality Award held at Mahabandoola Park, Yangon yesterday. The officials explained about the purposes of Champion for Gender Equality Award.-IPRD
