A mango garden, dedicating to U Tun Hla Aung who provided valuable weather forecasts helpful to farmers on the Facebook account Su Su San was created as a memorial to mark the second month anniversary of his demise, according to Ko Yenanthar Dingar, founder of Yenanthar Dingar planting group.
The memorial garden was set up in their Parahita park located on Yangon-Pyay-Magway-Mandalay Road in Yenangyoung Township on 28 May.
“It has been two months on 28 May that the meteorologist Su Su San, who contributed to all incluidng us with his vocation, passed away. Just a few hours before he died, he wrote a post about mango trees that can give people shade with edible fruits, that is why we created this mango garden as a long-lasting good deed for him,” said Ko Yenanathar Dingar on his Facebook page.
For the memorial garden, Golden Bat organic fertilizer company provided organic fertilzed soil. — MT/ZS
