A ceremony to open the natural disaster management course 1/2019 took place at the Dekkhinathiri District General Administration Office, Nay Pyi Taw this morning with the aim of engaging in management of natural disaster.

Nay Pyi Taw Council member U Aung Myint Tun urged the public to cooperate with the government in environmental conservation and disaster management.

Head of Nay Pyi Taw Disaster Management Department U Kyaw Kyaw Tun explained about the course. The five day-course is being attended by 50 trainees from the general administration offices, fire service departments, social affairs departments, disaster prevention department and public health department.— Tun Tun Win (IPRD)
