Thandaunggyi, 11 March

A basic summer sport course was opened  by Thandaunggyi Township Sports and Physical Education Department under the Ministry of Health and Sports was held at the Pathi Hall of Thandaunggyi, Hpa-an District, Kayin State this morning.

At the ceremony, Thandaunggyi Township Administrator U Kyaw Ko Ko Win delivered an introductory speech and Course Instructor U Sein Win explained about the purposes of the course. Next, Technical Head of Thandaunggyi Township Sports and Physical Education Department Daw Naw Khuu Thar Gaw presented the sports gear for the course.

The course is being attended by 95 trainees from Thandaunggyi Township. The trainees will learn four kinds of sports— badminton, Sepak Takraw, football and aerobics from 11 to 30 March.—Township (IPRD)
