A total of 249 rooms in seven buildings will be put up for sale in June 2025 by linking with the home loan programme of the CHID Bank.
The Department of Urban and Housing Development under the Ministry of Construction will sell apartment units of Yoma Yeiktha, Yuzana Phase III, Thilawa and Kyansitmin Phase I housing under a home loan of the Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Development Bank (CHID) with a low interest rate.
There are 2,020 people who have deposited more than K3 million at the CHID Bank as of 31 March 2025, and they are eligible to register their applicant name through DUHD Sale Housing Facebook messenger between 16 and 20 June 2025 from 9 am to 4 pm.They must fill in their name, father’s name, national scrutiny card, name of the housing and CHID Bank’s down payment serial number after observing types of buildings, price, apartment size and location. It will exercise a first-come, first-served system. Early birds will be entitled to draw lots.
Drawing lots will be held on 27 June 2025, and housing loans will be granted to those winners who are allowed to buy an apartment unit. — ASH/KK
