HUAWEI Technologies (Yangon) Co Ltd do­nated consumer goods, medicines and medical supplies to the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement yester­day afternoon to provide necessary assistance to the people affected by the earthquake.

National Disaster Management Committee First Vice-Chair Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung received the donation, expressed gratitude and presented a certificate of appreciation.

The donation cere­mony was attended by the leader of the Disaster Management Commit­tee Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Maj-Gen Aung Kyaw Kyaw and Secretary of the Nation­al Disaster Management Committee Deputy Min­ister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement U Soe Kyi.
