Maubin, 5 June
Basic food items were made available to local residents at reasonable prices in Maubin Township, Ayeyarwady Region, on the morning of 5 June. The sale took place at 7 a.m. in front of the local fire services department near Kanthayar Market in Ward-3.
Under the supervision of the District and Township Price Stabilization Committee, the Rice Merchants Association, Oil Merchants Association and poultry farmers in the township sold eggs, rice and cooking oil at lower price.
The Chairman of the District Administration Body U Myint Naing, along with his team, and the Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Toe Toe Win, also visited the event to observe the proceedings.— Aung Myint Myat (IPRD)
