Acting on a tip-off, a combined team comprising policemen from Anti-Drug Squad raided the compound of Daw Nan Kaw in Hwe Nam Lin Village, Tachilek Township, Shan State at 4:30 PM on June 2, and arrested two fugitives wanted in Thailand, namely Mr. Phanatsak Riabpuang and Miss. Wanida Jakkeaw, along with 11,000 stimulant tablets. The Myanmar Police Force reported that the two have been charged with felony drug offenses and are continuing to identify the perpetrators of the crime. (News)
