Pantanaw Township Rural Development Department were engaged in the digging of lakes in Sawpan village, Mingaru village-tract, Kyonpyawlay village in Dawwar village-tract and Pyinmachaung village in Bawaing village-tract with a fund allocated out of  the 2018-2019 fiscal year.

The project was launched to supply drinking water to those villages which are often found themselves without drinking water, especially in the summer.

The emergence of those water storage facilities will benefit 1913 people of 369 households from three villages, it is learnt.—Pyae Phyo Kyaw (IPRD)
