SRI Lankan Ambassador Mrs Prabashini Ponnamperuma called on General Maung Maung Aye, State Administration Council Member, Deputy Prime Minister, and Union Minister for Defence, at the Union Minister’s Office yesterday.
They exchanged views in a friendly and open manner on the state of defence cooperation between Myanmar and Sri Lanka, matters related to strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries, and opportunities for collaboration in relevant sectors. — MNA/TH
