Kawkareik, 12 March

           

An inter-village road was opened to public in Maungma Thayagon Village in Kawkareik Township, Kayin State this morning.

           

The road was formally opened by a senior Buddhist monk, village officials and representatives from the Community-Driven Project by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. The road connects Maungma Village and Thayagon Village. The concrete type inter-village road is 6 inch thick and measures 2,200 ft. in length, and 12 ft. in width.

 

It was built with more than Ks. 30 million funded by the Community-Driven Project and donated by local people.—Soe Htet Aung (Dawna)
