A ceremony to present relief supplies to natural disaster affected families took place at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Dadeye Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday evening.

Some houses that belong to 11 families from Kyaunggon Village, Dadeye Township became relocated due to rising floodwaters from the Toe River and riverbank erosion. At the ceremony, Township Administrator U Htet Myat Aung encouraged the affected family members. Next, representatives from the Myanmar Red Cross Society and the Fire Services Department presented relief supplies such as household utensils, hygiene items, construction materials, mats, tarpaulin, blankets, and mosquito nets to the natural disaster victims.
The humanitarian aid provided to the natural disaster victims during the ceremony is worth about Ks. 1.5 million.—IPRD
