Zigon, 30 June

In an effort to promote environmental conservation, enhance the local climate, provide shade and aesthetic beauty, and raise public awareness about the value of forests, a collective tree planting event was held in Zigon Township, Nattalin District, Bago Region on the morning of June 30. The event took place on a designated plot near Mangyi Pinseik Village.

The seedlings were first formally handed over to officials from the Zigon Township Forest Department. During the event, U Myo Thet Aung, Chairman of the Township Administration Body, along with staff from the General Administration Department, planted a total of 100 teak and Manjansha saplings.
