DEPARTMENT of Technical and Vocational Education and Training under the Ministry of Science and Technology and Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) will offer Rice Processing Technology Course as a University-Industry Collaboration.
Certificate Course, Higher Certificate Course in Rice Processing Technology will be conducted through practical and theoretical approaches, in collaboration with the School of Industrial and Training and Education and Insein GTI.
The course will be opened in August 2025. It will take three to four months. Trainees will be provided with accommodation and food. This free-of-charge course is employment-guaranteed training at rice mills and companies upon completion.
This course is tailored to those who attended AGTI, those with industrial experience in rice milling businesses, and those who have worked for factories. Those who passed the entrance interview will be notified. The course is trying to provide effective learning with a curriculum. Curriculum experts also went on a curriculum research tour to the SITE and Shwewah Yaung Rice Mill, Sein Lae Myay Rice Mill and Good Brothers Rice Mill on 24 June. — ASH/KK
