A coordination meeting of member writers of Yekyi Township Writers Association was held in conjunction with the book-donation ceremony at the community centre of the Township Information and Public Relations Department in Pathein District, Ayeyawady Region this morning.

At the meeting, writer Thein Zaw (Shwelioo) touched upon constant efforts to be made in cooperation with government bodies to equip new generation youths with writing and reading habits.

This was followed by a general round of discussions.

After the meeting, writer Ko Shwe Thein Aye donated a variety of publications to the library of the Township IPRD. Also present on the occasion were enthusiasts, bookworms, members of Book Club, Youth Club and Women Club and others.—Hsan Tint (Yekyi)
