THE 2025 rainy season tree-planting ceremony of the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization was held yes­terday morning at designated locations in Mayangon, Thin­gangyun, and Hlegu districts of Yangon Region.

 

First, the ceremony took place at the Dagon Thiri Fish Pond in the precinct of Kaba Aye Pagoda, Mayangon Town­ship, Yangon Region, where the officials of the organization (Central and Yangon Region) and relevant officials collective­ly planted 300 trees.

 

Next, a total of 200 saplings were planted in the courtyard of Thuwunna MyoOo Pagoda in Thingangyun District, Yangon Region.

 

Similarly, in the courtyard of Hpa-auk Tawya Monastery in Hlegu District, Yangon Region, the chairman of the Yangon Re­gion Organization, along with officials and members of the dis­trict and township branches of the organization, planted a total of 300 trees. — MNA/TH
