A rainy season tree planting ceremony was held yesterday evening at the Central Institute of Civil Service (Lower Myanmar) with the aim of greening the campus. The event was attended by U Soe Tint, a member of the Union Civil Service Board.
U Soe Tint delivered a brief address and presented saplings to the Rector, trainees, and representatives. He then led the planting of mahogany saplings to officially launch the event.
The Rector, Pro-Rectors, department heads, professors, staff, and trainees participated in the event. On the occasion, a total of 1,200 saplings were planted, including 100 teak, 125 pyinkadoe, 10 padauk, 25 mahogany, and 940 manjasha.— MNA
