Mong Sat, 8 July

The Township Rural Development Department held an opening ceremony for its masonry training course for the 2025–2026 fiscal year on the morning of 7 July at the department’s conference hall in Mong Sat Township, Shan State (East).

The event began with an opening speech by U Sai Aung Myo Htet, Head of the Mong Sat District Rural Development Department. This was followed by U Sai Soe Htay, Head of the Township Rural Development Department, who outlined the objectives of the training program, the benefits it offers, and the curriculum that will be covered. He encouraged participants to engage actively, retain what they learn, and apply the knowledge in real-life settings beyond the training period.

Following the speeches, the district head and officials distributed training materials to the participants.

The ceremony was attended by district and township-level departmental personnel, along with 20 trainees from nearby villages. The 15-day training course is being offered free of charge.— Maung Khaing (RDD)
