A TEAM of canoe and kayak athletes from the Myanmar Rowing and Canoeing Federation left Yangon International Airport yesterday morning to take part in the 2025 Singapore Sprint Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Singapore on 12 and 13 July.
The team was seen off by U Thaung Htike Min, President of the Myanmar Rowing and Canoeing Federation and the Myanmar Swimming Federation, along with secretaries and officials from the respective federations.
Manager Dr Kyaw Ye Hein led the Myanmar team, which comprises 11 members, including officials, coaches and athletes.
According to the federation, athletes from Singapore, Myanmar, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia and Australia will compete in the two-day sprint competition. — Arkar Linn/KZL
