          Due to the increase of water level in the Ayeyawady River, water entered into some houses in low-lying areas in Malun village in Minhla Township, Thayet District, Magway Region.

Therefore, in the morning of 17 July, a total of 78 people from 19 households were evacuated to a rescue camp in a monastery in the village with the guidance of Township Administrator. There were no casualties due to the floods.

Arrangements are being made to receive rescue items by connecting with the Township Disaster Managment Department.
