A ceremony to present a certificate of honour and cash to a Chin ethnic fighter who defeated his opponent in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) championship took place at the meeting room of the Chin State government office in Haka yesterday evening.
Firstly, Chief Minister of Chin State Salai Lain Luai delivered a congratulatory speech and presented a certificate of honour, cash and souvenirs to the MMA fighter Salai Tial Cung Thang (alias) “The Dragon Leg”. Tial Cung Thang, nicknamed “The Dragon Leg” is a mixed martial artist of ethnic Chin descent.
Tial Cung Thang won over Rin Saroth from Cambodia by point at his MMA debut headlined, “reign of Valor” held at Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon on 8 March, bringing his country “dignity” and “image”.—IPRD
