With the aim of boosting agricultural production and income generation of local people, a basic organic-oriented agriculture course was opened at the congregation hall of Asia Alinyaung Pariyatti monastery in Wapoyay village, PyinOoLwin township, Mandalay region this morning.

At the event, Dr Than Than Sein of Myanmar Organic Agricultural Association clarified the salient points of organic-centred agriculture.
