Two people were injured when a vehicle crossed a rail way and hit partially with a train in the township of Mogaung in Kachin state yesterday.

A car driven by U Thet Myo Mon (a) Ko Thet, 35, of Seikkun village, Shwebo township, Sagaing region crossed a railway crossing and hit No. 42 Down train operated by locomotive engineer U Khin Maung Win, running between mile posts 675/17 and 675/18. The accident left two people out of 17 onboard the car injured—one male and one female.

Action is being taken against Thet Myo Mon under section 85 of Rail Transportation Law by Mogaung Myoma police station.— Win Naing ( Kachin Myay)
