Dutch police have arrested a suspect in a shooting on a tram in the city of Utrecht that killed three people.
The incident on Monday left five others injured. Three of them are reported to be in critical condition.
Police identified the suspect from surveillance camera footage as 37-year-old Gokmen Tanis.
They later found the Turkish man about three kilometers from the crime scene and apprehended him.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte told reporters that his country was shocked by the attack in Utrecht.
Rutte added that there are still many questions and rumors as to the motive for the shooting.
Turkish media quoted relatives of the suspect as saying he targeted a relative. A local prosecutor said he may have carried out the shooting for family reasons.
But the Dutch government has not ruled out the possibility that the shooting was an act of terrorism.
