A ceremony to hand over confiscated lands to owners was held at the meeting hall of Myingyan Township General Administration Department in Mandalay Region this morning.

First of all, MP of Amyotha Hluttaw U Aung Myo Latt, MP of the Region Hluttaw U Waing Chit Aung and Chairman of the Confiscated Land Reviewing Committee U Tint Hlaing clarified procedures on the handover of confiscated lands.

At today ceremony, a 4.78 acre-land at Plot No. 574 (A) in Ward-7, Hwahtogyi was returned to its owners.

Also present on the occasion were the MPs, the District Commissioner, the Township Administrator, members of the Confiscated Land Reviewing Committee, land owners and others.—Zaw Min Naing (Myingyan)
