Citizens of every country and people around the world wish for peace and prosperity in their own nations. Likewise, the people of Myanmar also desire peace for their country. If Myanmar is peaceful, and all the countries connected to Myanmar are peaceful as well, then the world itself will be peaceful. As such, may all people worldwide, including the citizens of Myanmar, live in peace.

Over the past year, Myanmar’s government and all citizens, including ethnic groups, have fulfilled the duties and responsibilities they should fulfil. They have endured natural disasters and, with the government’s guidance and supervision, have been able to rebuild their country and communities. Efforts have also been made systematically to advance toward a democratic nation. However, citizens must not forget that there are still plans and tasks that need to be carried out in the future.

All ethnic groups, citizens, parents, and national leaders must strive together to ensure that Myanmar continues to become a united, peaceful, and prosperous nation in the years ahead. Everyone must renew their energy and efforts to work collectively to preserve the country’s enduring legacies, including religion, culture, and territorial integrity, and to strengthen and sustain them for the long term.

As the nation moves forward on its path, it will inevitably encounter difficulties. If these challenges are addressed with determination, unity, and perseverance, opportunities will arise. In fact, difficulties, problems, challenges, and setbacks can themselves become opportunities for growth and success. By confronting and overcoming these obstacles and applying the results as opportunities, while continuing to strive with patience, courage, and effort toward one’s goals, one can steadily reach the target of success without deviation.

In 2026, everyone must work together to rebuild Myanmar as a modern, developed democratic nation. They must vow that it will be a year to achieve a durable peace that all citizens aspire to, and to advance the social and economic well-being of all ethnic groups. Therefore, in 2026, all citizens should learn from past experiences, based on a spirit of unity, mutual understanding, and trust, and strive together to overcome challenges successfully.

All citizens should walk on the right path, acting with love for the nation and the people, and serve the well-being of the country in all ways and means they choose. Everyone should reflect on what they have done, choose the correct path, and act decisively to avoid future regrets. Every citizen must firmly believe that the lives of the people constitute the nation, and that the nation’s future exists solely for the benefit of its people.
