Naungtaya 20 March

A concluding of Basic course (2/2019) on livestock breeding and healthcare jointly opened by Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department and Mephalon Foundation was held at a breeding farm in Naungtaya, Shan State yesterday.

First of all, MP U Khun Saw Aung of Shan State Hluttaw delivered a speech followed by Dr Ni Ni Win, Assistant Director of LBVD, Pinlaung Township elaborated the purpose of the training and called on the trainees to practically apply what they have learned to make livestock breeding a success in their villages.

Next, U Sai Chan Myet Win presented prizes to three outstanding trainees while Police Capt Thet Maung from Anti-drug Squad-26, Pinlaung gave away completion certificates to the trainees, and Dr Myo Thuya Swe Aung of Mephalon Foundation gave medicines and medical equipment to the trainees, after which a trainee spoke words of thanks.

The five-day course was attended by 20 trainees from Paw-in and Lwemaw Village-tracks of the township.—Khun Aung (Naungtaya) IPRD
