A ceremony to welcome and honour frontline-returning Tatmadaw personnel who had bravely fought armed terrorist groups and organizations operating under the name of the PDF – groups that had committed violent acts causing suffering to the public and undermining regional development – and who had achieved repeated victories, was held this morning at a local battalion in Minbu Township, Magway Region.

The event was attended by Brig-Gen Lin Naing Soe, Deputy Commander of the Central Command, responsible officials, members of the regional government, departmental officials, teachers, students, and residents.

For the sake of enabling ethnic communities across regions and states to live and work peacefully and securely, ensuring the safety of lives and property, and maintaining national stability and regional peace, the victorious frontline-returning Tatmadaw personnel had carried out military duties on various battlefronts day and night with unwavering commitment, while being separated from their homes and families. In recognition of their achievements, the Deputy Commander, responsible officials, members of the regional government, departmental officials, teachers, students, and residents warmly welcomed and honoured them with victory flowers, bouquets, garlands, soft drinks, and traditional music performances.
