THE mobile oxygen concentrator donation ceremony organized by the Metta Paramishin Foundation was held for hospitals in Pyapon District, Ayeyawady Region, at 10 am yesterday in the meeting room of Pyapon General Hospital.
The event was attended by the presiding Sayadaw Maha Saddhammajotikadhaja, Agga Maha Saddhammajotikadhaja, Aggamaha Kammathanacariya Dr Bhaddanta Nimmala of the Metta Paramishin Foundation, in Ngahtetgyi North Ward, Bahan Township. Explanations on the donation were given by representatives of Nanda Aung Myay Monastery.
Afterwards, Dr Bhaddanta Nimmala presented eight mobile oxygen concentrators and two laptops to public and district hospitals in Pyapon District – Pyapon, Kyaiklat, Dedaye, Bogalay and Kani – to the respective township medical superintendents.
The ceremony was attended by Dr Bhaddanta Nimmala of the Metta Paramishin Foundation, Chairperson U Zaw Lwin Oo and members of the Pyapon District Management and Administration Committee, chairpersons and members of the four Township Management and Administration Committees in Pyapon District, medical superintendents of the four township hospitals, invitees, and health workers from Pyapon General Hospital.
