A four-day workshop on the upgrade and technical support of FDM and DDMS Software, aimed at digitally recording contract registration process­es under the Registration of Deeds Law and Farmland Law, was successfully conclud­ed yesterday. The workshop was held at the meeting hall of the Irrigation and Water Utilization Management De­partment in Yankin Township, Yangon.

 

The workshop was held from 7 to 10 February, and a total of 193 staff of the Settle­ment and Land Records De­partment from Yangon Re­gion, Mon State, Kayin State, Rakhine State and Taninthayi Region.

 

The workshop focused on developing new software to enable digital recording of con­tract registrations and farm­land-related documentation, aiming to facilitate online data backup systems linking offices with the head office for more efficient data management.

 

The workshop was being held starting 14 January in Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay Re­gion, Shan State, and now in Yangon Region. It will be held in Pathein of Ayeyawady Re­gion from 18 to 21 February. — Nyein Thu (MNA)/KTZH
