A paramilitary troop of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) killed three of his comrades and later shot and injured himself in restive Indian-controlled Kashmir, officials said Thursday.

"In this incident three of our personnel have died and the one who shot them is critically wounded," a CRPF officer, Harinder Kumar, told media. "These are preliminary details, we will come up with detailed information about the incident soon after investigation."

The shooting took place on Wednesday at 10:00 p.m. local time inside the camp allegedly over a disagreement on issues among the personnel, reports said.

Health experts said continued separation from family, long duty hours, lack of recreational facilities, poor command were usually found to be reasons behind such incidents.
