SUMMER basic football and futsal training programmes will be provided free in five cities, according to the Myanmar Football Federation.
Basic soccer training classes for kids 10-15 years old will be opened in Yangon, Mandalay, Taunggyi, Pathein and Mawlamyine, aiming to encourage the development of physical, intellectual and personal skills for young people, having a passion for football sport and more new generation players to appear.
It will be conducted in two batches- from 9 March to 8 April for the first batch and from 20 April to 20 May for second batch, and basic football playing tactics will be trained for a total of 1,700; 500 football trainees and 200 futsal trainees in Yangon, 400 football trainees in Mandalay and each 200 football trainees in Taunggyi, Pathein and Mawlamyine.
Training uniforms will be provided free for all trainees.
