THE Myanmar Red Cross Society, in collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, conducted an “On-the-Job Training on Household Assessment for Transitional Shelter Assistance” from 18 to 20 March at the Myanmar Red Cross Society head office in Nay Pyi Taw.

Attending the opening ceremony were the Nay Pyi Taw Red Cross Supervisory Committee chairman, the director and deputy director of the Disaster Management Department, other responsible officials, and Red Cross volunteers. At the ceremony, Myanmar Red Cross Society Vice-President Dr Daw Tin Tin Lay delivered an opening address, while U Myint Tun Han, Director of the Administration Department of MRCS, gave welcoming remarks.

A total of 25 Red Cross volunteers from Tatkon Township, Pyinmana Township, and Lewe Township attended the training. — ASH/KNN
