FOR units at the Yoma Yeiktha Housing sold on 16 January 2026, a temporary residence permit will be issued in April, the Department of Urban and Housing Development announced on 26 March.

The department said a temporary residence permit will be issued to eligible buyers of units in buildings 48 and 51 of Yoma Yeiktha, which were sold under the home loan development project.

The notification letter will be issued at the department office on Bogyoke Aung San Road in Botahtaung Township, as of 2 April, during office hours.

Original ID card with a copy and a copy of the household list are required for taking out the notification letter in person, it said. For those who are unable to come in person, an original letter of attorney, an original and a copy of the owner’s ID, the represented person’s ID and a copy of the household list are required.
