YOMA-OUE Pun Hlaing Hospitals received the Healthcare Asia Hospital Group of the Year-Myanmar Award 2026 for its exceptional success in expanding access to healthcare services across Myanmar, its leadership in clinical governance, and its commitment to international quality standards.

The Healthcare Asia Award, presented by Healthcare Asia Magazine, aims to honour outstanding hospitals across Asia. These awards recognize hospitals that go beyond conventional boundaries to deliver excellent patient care and make a lasting impact on their local communities.

Over the past 20 years, Yoma-OUE Pun Hlaing Hospitals have grown from a single hospital into a network of 17 healthcare facilities, including three hospitals, three Pun Hlaing Special Clinics, four Pun Hlaing Family Clinics, and seven laboratory sample collection centres. These facilities are located in Yangon, Mandalay, Taunggyi, Aungban, and Pyapon, and are supported by the HEAL by Pun Hlaing application.

From basic medical care and diagnostics to more complex procedures such as organ transplants and cardiac surgeries, the hospitals and clinics offer a comprehensive range of services. The different levels of healthcare within the group are integrated rather than segmented.

Founded in 2005, Pun Hlaing Hospital became the first hospital in Myanmar to receive JCI accreditation in 2017, with subsequent accreditations in 2020 and 2023. The collaboration between First Myanmar Investment (FMI) and OUE Lippo Healthcare Limited of Singapore aims to build the largest hospital network in Myanmar and deliver medical services nationwide through hospitals, clinics, and the HEAL by Pun Hlaing application. — ASH/MKKS
