TO analyze the future of the education sector in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and to share innovative teaching methodologies for educators, the Global Education Innovation Forum (GEIF)-the RVi Group held Myanmar 2026 on 30 March at the Zealax Hotel in Yangon.

 

It was conducted under the theme “AI-Enhanced Education: Teaching with Purpose and Eth­ics”. International and local ed­ucators attended the event and discussed the transformation of classroom teaching through technology and future education­al requirements.

 

The forum was held in Man­dalay on 28 March and in Yangon on 30 March. Attended renowned international experts, including Dr Benson Soong (PhD, Univer­sity of Cambridge) – Founder of Advanced Pedagogy, Mr Nigel Killick (MBA, Harvard Business School) – Founder and CEO of Reallyenglish, and Mr Wayne Schlegel (Graduate of Yale and Norwich) – International Edu­cation Consultant.

 

It was announced that for outstanding individuals in the education sector, schools can nominate up to two teachers for the Inspiring Educator of the Year Award. Selected winners will receive a trophy, a certificate of honour, and a cash prize of K500,000.

 

Furthermore, Education Innovation Awards will be pre­sented to schools that have demonstrated excellence in AI integration, innovative teach­ing methods, and educational processes that create a positive social impact. — MT/ZN
