A public talk titled “Rural Development” was jointly conducted by Myittha Township Information and Public Relations Deparmtent with the participation of MPs of Hluttaw and departmental personnel at the Montawgyi village in Myittha Township on 22 March.

At the talks, MP Dr. Lin Lin Kyaw of Pyithu Hluttaw, MP Daw Ohn Kyi of Amyotha Hluttaw and township administrator U Aung Moe gave remarks and U Ye Win Tun of the IPRD clarified the purpose of the public talks.

Next, MPs of regional Hluttaw, officials from the Rural Development Department, the Department of Agricultural Land Management and Statistics, the Township Education Department, the Department of Irrigation and Water Management and others clarified the procedures of their respective departments.

Afterwards, the attendees asked for the construction of bridges and rural roads, education, rural health, issuing national identity cards, installation of home meter and supplying water system and the officials discussed the basic needs of the local people. 

Present on the occasion were MPs of Hluttaw, township administrators, departmental personnel and local people.
