Sponsored by Myanmar Red Cross Society, a basic first aid training course was opened this morning at Yeikthar hall of Leshi General Administration Department in Leshi, Naga Self-Administered Zone, Sagaing Region.

First of all, Chairman of Leshi Township Management Committee U Tun Tun Lay delivered an opening speech.

“Previously, MRCS operated its functions in Leshi Township but the works have been interrupted two years ago. Now, we are in the course of endeavoring to make the MRCS’s works a success in our Township” Said U Tun Tun Lay.

Head of Sagaing Region MRCS U Tint Wai clarified the purpose of the course. “The aim of the training is to equip the trainees with skills to provide health care to other people and we will try to open the course every year in Leshi” he added.

The four-day course is being attended by 50 trainees.—Townhsip IPRD (Leshi)
