State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi casted an advance vote for the Yangon municipal election in Bahan Township, Yangon yesterday afternoon according to election rule. The Yangon municipal elections will be held on 31 March.

Bahan Township municipal elections sub-commission chairman U Than Lwin, members U Nay Win and Daw Thida Aung, secretary township municipal chief U Thein Zaw, ward/village sub-commission member U Win Kyi and U Zaw Aung performed their respective duties to allow the casting of the advance vote. The Yangon Region municipal elections will be conducted in 33 townships within the municipal area of Yangon Region.
