Essential food items were sold at affordable prices this morning at Mingalar Market in Ka Da Ward, Paung Township, Mon State, as part of an effort to ease the cost of living for local residents.

Among the items offered were four eggs for K 1,500 and palm oil at K 7,372 per viss. During the event, U Tun Tun Oo, Assistant Director of the Township Development Committee, and members of the Market Committee along with Ward Administrator sold food items at reduced prices.—Mon Malay (IPRD)
