A multiplier course for polling station officers took place at the room of basic education high school No.2 in Pazuntaung Township this morning.

At the opening ceremony, Chairman of the township election sub-commission U Maung Maung Soe made a speech. U Tin Ngwe Tun, member of the township election sub-commission urged the polling station officers to try their best to ensure a free and fair municipal election. The secretary of the township election sub-commission U Sis Myint also explained electoral procedures.

The course, the second time of its kind in Pazuntaung Township is aimed at assisting the polling station officers in better understanding electoral processes. The trainees will be lectured by 7 course instructors.—Ko Phone
