Outstanding student youths at Grade-11 and higher education levels happily joined the bonfire events at closing of their outstanding student camps in Chaungtha and Ngwehsaung together with local authorities.

THE closing bonfire ceremonies for the 2026 Higher Education-level Outstanding Student Youth Camp in Chaungtha and the Grade-11 Outstand­ing Student Youth Camp in Ngwehsaung were held at the respective camps yes­terday evening.

The Ayeyawady Region Chief Minis­ter and his wife, the Ayeyawady Region Hluttaw Speaker and his wife, the com­mander of South-West Command and his wife, an official from the local airbase in Pathein and his wife, regional ministers and their wives, joined the ceremonies together with outstanding youths.

The chief minister spoke on the occasion at the Higher Education-lev­el Outstanding Student Youth Camp in Chaungtha, and enjoyed song and dance performances presented by the outstand­ing youth.

They also attended the closing ceremony of the Grade-11 Outstanding Student Youth Camp in Ngwehsaung, where the chief minister addressed the gathering and had dinner together with the outstanding student youth.

The Region Chief Minister and offi­cials lit and officially opened the beach bonfire event, and joyfully participated together with the outstanding student youth in a peaceful and cheerful atmos­phere. — Region IPRD/KZL
