THE introduction of Myanmar’s Sein­talone mango was organized on 11 May at the Myanmar Consulate-General located at the World Financial Centre, aiming to expand the mango market, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

At the event, Myanmar Consu­late-General U Kyaw Zay Yar Lin gave an opening speech and a video record about the promotion of Seintalone mango was shown.

 

With Seintalone mangoes, Myan­mar coffee, Myanmar tea, Myanmar beer and liquors were exhibited at the event.

 

And visitors were served with Seintalone mangoes, snacks, and beverages made of Seintalone and Myanmar tea.

 

Special guests Mr Zhu Mao, dep­uty director-general of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism and Ms Fan Qing, second-lev­el inspector from the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government, along with more than 60 attendees, including government officials, consuls-general from Belarus, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia and Vietnam based in Chongqing and Chengdu and delegates from other consulates-general and businesses were present on the occasion.— MT/ZS
