A bee keeping course was opened at New Wathawkho Village, in Dimawso Township, Kaya State yesterday.

First of all, head of Township Bee Keeping Department U Zaw Win and Township Administrator U Nyan Hlaing delivered speeches while Commander of the Township MPF Police Major Hla Htway explained matters related to scourge of drugs.

Next, the staff officer of Township Bee Breeding Department elaborated the purpose of the course and called on the locals to engage in bee keeping in their village as cattle which are bred at their homes. The Township Department of Bee Keeping will provide a total of 25 beehives to the locals.

The locals in the village track are attending the one-week course.—Ri Re (Dimawso)
