A ceremony to give back confiscated farmlands to owners from Wunlone village-tract, Mongphyat Township by the Township Committee for Reviewing Confiscated Farmlands was held at the Township General Administration Department this morning.

At the ceremony, MP U Lin Zaw Tun of Pyithu Hluttaw and Tachilek District Commissioner U Myint Naing gave remarks and officials handed over 1.141 acres of farmlands to five owners who expressed words of thanks.

Present on the occasion were departmental personnel, political parties, members of Bama, Larhu, Akha and Shan Ethnic Literature and Cultural Associations, ward and village administrators and members of social organizations.
