THE opening ceremony of the Certificate Course in Basic Diplomatic Skills 47/2026, conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Af­fairs, was held yesterday at the Wunzinminyazar Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Yangon). Deputy Minister for For­eign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw delivered the open­ing remarks.

 

Present at the occa­sion were retired deputy ministers, retired My­anmar ambassadors, senior diplomats, the di­rector-general and other responsible officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and trainees.

 

The Certificate Course in Basic Diplo­matic Skills 47/2026 will be conducted in Yangon from 7 am to 9 am from 15 June 2026 to 4 September 2026 on weekdays. A total of 96 trainees, including civil servants and pri­vate sector participants interested in interna­tional relations and di­plomacy, will attend the course. This twelve-week course covers diplomacy, international relations, international law, politi­cal economy and general knowledge. — MNA
