THE opening ceremony of the Certificate Course in Basic Diplomatic Skills 47/2026, conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was held yesterday at the Wunzinminyazar Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Yangon). Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw delivered the opening remarks.
Present at the occasion were retired deputy ministers, retired Myanmar ambassadors, senior diplomats, the director-general and other responsible officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and trainees.
The Certificate Course in Basic Diplomatic Skills 47/2026 will be conducted in Yangon from 7 am to 9 am from 15 June 2026 to 4 September 2026 on weekdays. A total of 96 trainees, including civil servants and private sector participants interested in international relations and diplomacy, will attend the course. This twelve-week course covers diplomacy, international relations, international law, political economy and general knowledge. — MNA
