A ceremony to wrap up basic summer sports courses was held at the township Myoma football ground in Momeik, Shan State(North) this morning.

First of all, Momeik Township Administrator U Htay Aung elaborated the purpose of the course while head of the District Sports Daw Maw Maw Win spoke words of thanks to the instructors who trained the trainees.

This was followed by the presentation of certificates to the trainees by U Kyaw Soe, assistant director of the District Sports and Physical Education Department which were accepted by a trainee on behalf of the trainees. Afterwards, Myanmar martial arts and aerobics dance were performed by the trainees.

The course that ran from 1 to 29 March covers ten kinds of sports.—Momeik Tha (Si Thu)
